Construction was started by Vespasian in BC 70 in the grounds of Nero's privated Domus Aurea and completed in AD 80. It is world largest arena and the massive structure could seat more than 50,000.
(Saitama) - U.S. capital, center of politics, artificial city : Washington D.C. It is easy to find the way because we can see the Washington Monument of 169 meter high from everywhere. It is called the Capitol Hill around the Capitol but the hill is only 20 to 30 meter high stairs.
(Saitama) - When we see D.C. from top of the Washington Monument, 169 m high, white buildings such as White House and the Capitol are in the direction of cross way. And seeing the Capitol, Smithsonian and National Museum and so on are from side to side of green belt. It is artificial town and government city but passing of time adds artificial dull city to historic atmosphere. It is time magic.

(Saitama) - Shah Jahan transfered the capital to Delhi from Agra in 1638 and commenced the construction of Shahjahanabad. On the 16th April 1639, he also laid the foundation of his citadel, Lal-Quila (Lal-Qal'a) or Red Fort in Hindi. It was completed after nine years on the 16th April 1648. The entire fort is said to have cost about one crore of rupees (10 million rupees or $200,000), half of it on the palaces.
(Saitama) - Nagasaki nowadays is good sightseeing spot in Kyushu Island, Southern Japan. This Urakami District is called Love and Peace Zone Main spots are Urakami Cathedral and Peace Park. Huge Statue of Peace was made by Mr. Seibo Kitamura of Nagasaki-born creater. It is 9.7 meter high, 30 ton weight and made of bronze. It was completed on August 9, 1955. There are many statues in the Peace Park and most of them were gifts from other countries.
(Saitama) - Shuri or Shurijo Castle has been the Castle of Ryukyu Kingdom of Southern Japan, Okinawa for 500 years. The Castle was restored and appointed as World Heritage in 1992. The Ryukyus has been an independent Kingdom and the Castle shows close relationship with China, Korea and Japan.
